Alzheimers Australia’s Race Against Dementia, September 2012

David Lloyd Funerals was proud to sponsor the Alzheimers Australia ‘Memory Walk and Jog – The Race Against Dementia’ at Speers Point Park, Lake Macquarie on Sunday 9 September 2012.

The Memory Walk and Jog provided people with an opportunity to show their support for the fight against dementia, and to help raise awareness and funds for those suffering from this terrible disease.

There were a variety of courses on offer on the day, all of which followed the beautiful route between Warners Bay and Speers Point: a 2km scenic Family Fun Walk for all the family, a 7.5km Memory Walk and a 7.5km Memory Jog.

The event was open to all ages and there was plenty of entertainment and fun for everyone involved.
